NBA Shot Chart: Indiana Pacers Leading Shooters, 1996-2021

Reading Time: 2 minutes

This is a tribute to Reggie Miller. Having spent his whole 18-year career with the Pacers, he’s the player who made 3-point shooting cool before it was cool. The two shot charts below show Reggie Miller’s legacy as he leads the team in so many different zones and has paved the way for other good Indiana Pacers players.

Most field goals made by zone, 1996-2021

Kinda shocked to see that Reggie Miller shot 43% from the left corner in a completely different era of NBA playing style. Shout out to Danny Granger and his straight-up 3-point ability. Myles Turner from the top of the key is always a good option as well, apparently. Jermaine O’Neal from the paint during his 8-season stay at Indiana also payed off.

Most field goals made in a single season by zone, 1996-2021

A few interesting names made the chart here. What I really love though is Reggie Miller and the elbow shots. His 1997 season record still stands! Also, 47 3-pointers made from the corner in 2000 is really impressive. I’m curious to see if Justin Holiday builds on his corner 3 this upcoming season after a good 2021 season from the corner.
